Can we make Europe?

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is allowed with-in the forums so please remove if not.
I have recentlty written a blog with regards to my thoughts on West Ham and their chances of making Europe.
I would appreciate peoples opinions and thoughts on this.

I personally would like us to play in Europe.
It is a good way to prepare for the champions league and gain european football experience because theere are some decent teams involved.
Not that I expect us to be competing in the champions league but it is the natural progression for a club like ours.
Unlike Tottenham who played 5 minutes of champions league football and all of a suddon they are too big for the Europa league.
Some teams, it is their level, such as Spurs and Liverpool. Others, it should be their aspiration in order to progress as a football club.
OK it may be too early, perhaps a solid season this season and maybe push for a European spot in time for a first season at the OS?
But let's not be snobs about it like Spurs are.

then 1 extra if either Cup is won by a team that has already qualified
so 5th, 6th or 7th depending

I'd rather not finish in Europa League. Unless they go back to a simple knock-out format it just screws up everyone's following seasons... we'd need several new players. Unless we win the cup and so go into it I am not enthusiastic about it.

The most saves thong is curious, as Jussi had similar stats, but we had a good goals against collumn.
I think it's down to us almost allowing shots from distance as they are usually relatively easy for the keeper to save, except when they are top corner rockets, which are few and far between.
We seem to put nearly all defensive effort into stopping the oppo getting in behind us, which usually leads to them taking frustrated long shots, getting Adrian's stats up.

I assume so Bernie.... can anyone confirm?
7th is do able.... probably more likely than coming runners up in cup?
Of those currently below us I think that only Liverpool will push to overtake.... not much to fear from the others... so we just need to fend the scousers off and hopefully re-take Spurs... I think we can do one or the other.

I think our defence is the weakest link. Adrian making the most saves so far this season, begs the question, where was his cover? 8-10 is my guess, although we have a chance in the cup if the draw is kind.

Top 4 CL, 5th 6th Europa League and FA Cup winners.
So if the FA Cup goes to a top 6 side does a Europe League spot drop to 7th?

I think we can make 4th, were only 4 points off man u, sahko to come and kouyate to come back, song not going to acon, back 4 looking decent, downing having a great season, solid back up in collins, morgan, nolan, poyet and cole, we need to believe and fucking go for it fkat out.

Obvious fear is that we don't and the mancs and scousers do and will come sniffing round to sign the likes of song.
